HIP HOP NEW SCHOOL

WHO WE ARE

Hip Hop New School is based in Newark, New Jersey. Giving you access to classes all across the world, including virtual courses. HHNS classes in early childhood development classes: for ages: 6mon - 2yrs w/parent or guardian, art interactive based learning 3-7yr, curriculum base classes ;ages 8-17yrs, and professional development training for ages 18 and up. We teach our students Hip Hop arts and Literacy, through a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion lens; utilizing the SEL (Social Emotional Learning) framework.


We offer Creative Coaching focused on enhancing the artists development through their own personal process and skills. By teaching the five elements of Hip Hop: Wordsmithing (Emcee), Movement (Dance), Hieroglyphics (Graffiti), Conduction (DJ), and Alchemy (Knowledge of Self).

Educating our students on how Hip Hop Heals all ACES (Adverse Childhood Experiences) approaching the academics of Hip Hop with a new perspective and passion to purify their own heart through the Hip Hop Arts.

About The Founder

My name is Boshia Raejean and I'm a Transformational Teaching Artist, Hip Hop Diplomat and Multi- Disciplinary Healing Artist from Newark New Jersey, and I was put here to make a change. My purpose is to educate humans on the importance of the foundation of our humanity, through the Black Sci-Fi experience, Afrofuturism.

It is my mission to build a m equitable and healthy space for girls and women in Hip Hop; for we have the power to bring Social, Communal, and Global Change throughout the world.
